Welcome to LocalPro! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the LocalPro mobile application and website ("Platform"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.

Important: By accessing or using LocalPro, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.

1. Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to the LocalPro mobile application and website
  • "User" refers to any person using the Platform, including customers and service professionals
  • "Customer" refers to users seeking services
  • "Service Professional" or "Professional" refers to verified service providers on the Platform
  • "Services" refers to the tasks, work, or professional services provided by Service Professionals
  • "We," "Us," "Our" refers to LocalPro

2. Eligibility

To use LocalPro, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

  • You must register for an account to use most Platform features
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • One person or business may maintain only one account

3.2 Service Professional Verification

Service Professionals must undergo verification, which may include:

  • Identity verification
  • Background checks
  • Skill and qualification verification
  • Document submission

4. Platform Usage

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Platform to:

  • Search for and connect with service professionals
  • Offer your professional services (if verified)
  • Communicate with other users through our secure platform
  • Post reviews and ratings for completed services
  • Access customer support

4.2 Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Post offensive, defamatory, or inappropriate content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Share contact information to bypass the Platform
  • Use the Platform for illegal activities
  • Scrape, copy, or collect data from the Platform
  • Circumvent security measures or system limitations
  • Post fake reviews or manipulate ratings
  • Spam or send unsolicited messages

5. Service Transactions

5.1 LocalPro's Role

LocalPro is a platform that connects customers with service professionals. We:

  • Facilitate connections between parties
  • Provide a communication platform
  • Process payments securely
  • Offer dispute resolution support

Important: LocalPro is NOT a party to the service agreement between customers and professionals. We do not employ service professionals and are not responsible for the quality, completion, or outcome of services.

5.2 Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate service requirements
  • Be present at the scheduled service time
  • Make payments through the Platform
  • Treat service professionals with respect
  • Provide honest reviews after service completion

5.3 Service Professional Responsibilities

  • Provide services professionally and competently
  • Arrive on time for scheduled services
  • Use appropriate tools and materials
  • Complete services as agreed
  • Maintain professional conduct
  • Update availability status accurately

6. Payments and Fees

6.1 Service Charges

  • Customers pay for services through the Platform
  • Service professionals set their own pricing
  • All prices are displayed upfront before booking
  • Payment is processed through secure payment gateways

6.2 Platform Fees

  • LocalPro charges service professionals a commission on completed transactions
  • Commission rates are communicated at the time of registration
  • Registration fees may apply for service professionals

6.3 Refunds and Cancellations

  • Cancellation policies vary by service type
  • Refunds are processed according to our Refund Policy
  • Disputes may be raised within 48 hours of service completion
  • LocalPro reserves the right to issue refunds at its discretion

7. Reviews and Ratings

  • Users can rate and review service professionals after service completion
  • Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on actual experience
  • Fake, malicious, or paid reviews are prohibited
  • LocalPro may remove reviews that violate our policies
  • Reviews cannot be edited once submitted but may be removed by contacting support

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Platform Content

All content on the Platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by LocalPro or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

8.2 User Content

  • You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform
  • By posting content, you grant LocalPro a license to use, display, and distribute it
  • You represent that you have rights to all content you post
  • LocalPro may remove content that violates these Terms

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.


10. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

10.1 Service Disclaimer

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. LOCALPRO:

  • Does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided
  • Is not responsible for the actions or omissions of service professionals
  • Does not verify all qualifications or credentials of service professionals
  • Cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free Platform operation

10.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOCALPRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from service transactions between users
  • Unauthorized access to your account
  • Platform errors, bugs, or interruptions

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO LOCALPRO IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS OR ₹5,000, WHICHEVER IS LOWER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LocalPro, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your provision or receipt of services
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you post on the Platform

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting customer support or through app settings.

12.2 By LocalPro

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your account is inactive for an extended period
  • We suspect fraudulent or illegal activity
  • We receive multiple complaints about your conduct
  • We discontinue the Platform

12.3 Effect of Termination

  • Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately
  • You remain responsible for any outstanding payments
  • Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Disputes Between Users

LocalPro provides a platform for dispute resolution between customers and service professionals. We may mediate disputes but are not obligated to do so.


13.2 Disputes with LocalPro

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through:

  • Good faith negotiation
  • Mediation if negotiation fails
  • Arbitration in accordance with Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996

14. Governing Law

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and LocalPro regarding use of the Platform.
